Welcome to the home page of the New Jersey Jesters paintball organization.
If you're not farmiliar with the team here is a little history. Started by a few friends,we have been around since 1996. So this upcoming year will be our 15th anniversary! We are the longest running paintball team in the northeast by a mile. We've had our up's and down's like any sports team(alright way more up's)but we have always persevered. There have been hundreds of teams that have come and gone since we started, add to that companies, players, venues, leagues, formats, the list goes on and on. I'm not sure if we would have been anyone's bet to still be standing when the dust cleared. However that's what it means to be a jester, to be resilient, you have to be willing to fight when all hope seems lost, way after normal people would have thrown in the towel. With the sport we love going through a rough time right now our dedication is needed now more than ever, to help carry paintball through to much better times. Nobody can be sure what paintball will look like in a few years, but one thing is for certain, New Jersey's favorite son's will still be bringing home the hardware, and lookin damn sexy doin it.
2011 Season Recap
2011 SEASON REVIEW The New Jersey Jesters are a large extended family so it came as no surprise that team co-captain Timmy Trentacoste invited the whole squad when he tied the knot with Erica Berchman on New Years Day 2011. The centerpiece of the reception was an ice sculpture of the team’s Jester Head logo which has yet to melt. The bride’s parents provided a fete worthy of royalty and set the tone for another successful season.
The 2011 paintball season represented the 15th Anniversary of the New Jersey Jesters paintball organization. Since 1996, founding members Timmy Trentacoste and Dylan Lester have guided the Jesters through a paintball landscape littered with disbanded teams, changing formats, vendor attrition, and shrinking sponsorship funds. Guided by the motto "Others Die, We Multiply”, the Jesters have persevered through thick and thin because of their passion for the sport we call Paintball!
To commemorate the 15th Anniversary season in style, the Jesters hit the field with custom jerseys and custom anodized markers. Laysick printed the custom jerseys featuring a 15th anniversary emblem on the back and some limited edition colors including LA Lakers purple/gold, neon green, and orange. For the first time ever, the team competed with custom anodized Jesters paintball markers. The anodizing design was created by Timmy and brought to life by Planet Eclipse in both the Ego and Geo models. These markers represent the epitome of design and execution. The custom jerseys and markers are prized possessions of all who own them and envied by all who don’t.
The Jesters nomadic existence continued during the 2011 season. Since Atlas Paintball closed in 2008, the team has been without a permanent home field. The Jesters were blessed by the generosity of two patrons who provided the team with access to their private practice fields. Early in the season, Ron Butler, owner of Paintball Authority in Monroe, NJ allowed the Jesters to use the private field adjacent to his residence. Sadly, Ron succumbed to cancer during the Jesters’ preparations for the Chicago PSP event. His generosity contributed greatly to the Jesters’ success in Chicago and will solidify his place in the Jesters’ Hall of Fame. Following the Chicago event the Jesters were once again a traveling road show. Fortunately, Steve Liss of AllStar Paintball was kind enough to provide access to his private field in the picturesque farmlands of Sussex County New Jersey. The team is sincerely grateful for the generosity of these two patrons.
Any day with paintball is a great day, but the experience is even better when you can bring home some hardware. In that regard, 2011 was a landmark season for the Jesters whose teams were successful in winning 4 PSP podiums, the highest number of podiums for the Jesters in a single season to date. These podiums included: D1 XBall PSP Chicago 2nd Place, D4 XBall PSP NJ Open 4th place, D1 XBall PSP World Cup 4th place, D2 5-man PSP World Cup 3rd place. The team also set an organizational record by entering 6 teams under the Jesters banner for the PSP World Cup event at the end of the season. No other organization can claim that level of support for the PSP. "You Can’t Stop the Kings.” In closing, the New Jersey Jesters would like to recognize the corporate sponsors who made the 2011 season such a success: KEE who provided Empire gear and RPS paint, Laysick for the 15th Anniversary Custom Jerseys, Planet Eclipse for the custom anodized New Jersey Jesters Ego11s and Geo2s, Ninja Paintball for tanks and regulators; Kong-Ker for leisure wear, and special thanks go to Paul and Cecilia from Stingray Ops in Brooklyn for technical support, superb customer service, and equipment delivery, sponsorship, basically everything. For the Jesters there is no off-season, there is only the time between tournaments. As usual, the next season of paintball is shrouded in mystery. One thing is certain; the Jesters will still be grinding it out and getting it done.

World Cup Recap
On October 23, the Paintball Sports Promotions season concluded with the 2011 World Cup. The largest paintball tournament in the world always carries a unique sense of excitement and importance, and this year was no different. World Cup is a difficult tournament because every team brings their best to the event. Every dollar spent on paint, every mile driven to practice, and every welt earned along the way all culminate on this field. Success here means that all those weekends spent sleeping on the floor in a crappy motel weren’t wasted. Teams are focused and practice harder than ever in the weeks leading up to World Cup, and the Jesters are no different. Everyone on the team, though, felt like they had something extra to prove. Two months ago, the PSP stopped for the first time in New Jersey. With the event in our own back yard and our friends and families on the sidelines cheering on the team, only the Kids squad was able to step up earn a spot in the top 4. The disappointing results of the last event lit the fires inside all of us to practice harder than ever and prove to all the doubters that Jersey was a fluke. A weekend of grinding on the layout at home was followed by a scrimmage with D1 team Denver Fury the day before the prelims began. After two days of perfect paintball weather, three of the five Jesters squads had moved out of the prelims. The D1 team was dominating, giving up a total of only 2 points to their first 3 opponents before a tough loss to TopGun Union. The D2 squad also advanced with a 3-1 record that included a 5-1 victory over French pro team Camp Carnage. The Kids team was 2-1 going into their final preliminary game against Tampa Bay Vengeance. G and his boys were on the ropes after going down 3 points early in the match, but made a comeback for the ages and won 4-3 to move on to the next day. Both the D2 and D4 teams were eliminated after losses on Saturday, but the D1 squad cemented a spot on Sunday, and a podium finish, after a close 4-3 win over Denver Fury. As the temperature rose on Sunday, so did the level of competition. The D1 squad had a second meeting with TopGun Union, this time on the Pro field with thousands of people around the globe watching via the PSP webcast. Following a tense, drawn-out first point the match began to swing in TopGun’s favor, leaving the Jesters to play a consolation match against VcK. The D1 team finished in 4th place, and ranked 3rd overall in Division 1 for the season. Some of the guys from the Silver squad entered a team in the D2/3 5-man event after the prelims, and smashed their way to a 3rd place finish and another podium for the organization. Since its formation, the Jesters organization has won dozens of tournaments and been on the podium in countless more. There have been several years with 3 podium finishes, but 2011 was the first time that the organization managed to podium on 4 separate occasions. We may not have walked away with a first place, but 4 podium finishes is certainly something to take pride in. Any team can go out and win a tournament. If you go back a few years to an old issue of FaceFull or PGi, you’ll find half a dozen examples of teams that caught fire for a season and then vanished as quickly as they arrived. The New Jersey Jesters are different. We are a mainstay of the tournament paintball scene, capable of producing consistent results year after year with little more than hard work and determination. As other teams fall by the wayside, the Jesters are still going strong. Leaving World Cup and returning to real life is always a bit depressing. The warmth and sunshine of Florida are replaced by the gloom of an approaching northeast winter. As the days get shorter and colder we begrudgingly turn to the dark and cramped indoor fields as our only outlet of practice. This year in particular there is an added feeling of unease as whispers of a merger between the leagues circulate and the future of tournament paintball is left a mystery. The format, the rate of fire, the field size, the event locations, even the name of the new league are all unknowns. The only thing we are sure of is that it is impossible to achieve perfection in this game, so this winter you will find us at the field every weekend working hard to ensure that the Jester name continues to be associated with success. The New Jersey Jesters would like to thank all those people that supported us in 2011: KEE for the Empire gear and RPS paint; James and the staff at Laysick for the sickest custom jerseys on this side of the pond; Planet Eclipse for the NJJ Ego11s and Geo2s, as well as the flawless tech support at events; Ninja Paintball for the tanks and regulators; KongKer for hooking the team up with fresh custom vinyl; Steve and his staff at AllStar paintball for providing the team a place to play every weekend; Max International for their support. Special thanks also go out to G Wickey for bringing all those cases of water to practice, and to Paul and Cecilia from Stingray Ops in Brooklyn for the countless hours of behind the scenes work to get the team up and running all season. Without all this help, the New Jersey Jesters wouldn’t have been able to accomplish anything this year. -Guy Trogani
N.J.O. and World Cup
N.J.O. is in the books and it was a strange event to say the least for us. I've never played in an event where a bunch of our teams played so well and just couldn't get anything to fall our way. From d1 all the way through d4. The kids still came away with a podium thus adding to our collection, hats off to them. But and this still seems crazy to me, all of the other teams that I got to watch played very well, but had no luck. D1 pretty much kept losing their games by one point, same with d2(except for the grad match where we had that first point and got a major, thus shifting the momentum). So I sat back and analyzed everything after the event and asked myself what we could have done differently to swing those one point games in our favor. In D1 I can count a handful of mistakes and in today's game, with how little paintball you play now, I guess that's too many. Which is crazy because the prelims was played almost flawlessly by or guys. Should we use pros like everyone else, Nah.... let's build tomorrows pros with our own guys. So what is it going to take. The million dollar question right. It's going to take hard work. Look yourself in the mirror today and ask if you gave it your all, and I don't mean at the event that's just too late. I mean did you give it your all leading up to the event or did you show up late to practices, did you miss practices all together, did you show up to practice but just not assert yourself and you just went through the motions. Chances are if you fall into one of these categories you made a mistake that cost your team. Which really is a tragedy. I don't know what happens when you die, I don't think anybody does really. But I am pretty sure that you don't get too many chances in life, so I make sure that everytime I step on the field I leave it all out there, so that I dont' have any regrets. Do I make mistakes, a ton, but not because I didn't focus or because my lanes were off from not buying my two cases at practice. And in a round about way here lies the answer to how we are going to go into world cup and scalp everbody, how we're going to punish everything that breathes not wearing a jester's jersey. The answer is simple, we have to want it more than the next guy, that's it. We have talent in this organization that very few have. We just have to want it more, let's go 100% for cup and be honest with oursleves and go to the uncomfortable places. If you're out of shape hit the gym, if your always late for practice be on time, if you miss practice a lot don't miss any, if your attitude is always negative change the way you think. Snap shoting is weak, practice it a ton, you look like a bitch.. get a jester tattoo. you get the idea right! It's WORLD FUCKIN CUP time and the bottom line is if we give it our all and really focus for the next few months we will be coming home with multiple podiums.
I want you all to do something when you read this, think of your old team, seriously whoever it might have been, whether they were good, great, terrible, whatever. They more than likely don't exist anymore, I guarantee it. Where would we be without this team on and off the field. We all should feel lucky to have a team like the one we play on. Sometimes we lose sight of that. We are a band of brothers that doesn't exist anywhere else in the world. There is nothing like our organization, I promise you that, and whether you remember it everytime you slide that jersey on or not, we OWE for that honor. I'm going to push this shit to the max for world cup because I can't even stomach the thought of letting my teammates on the gold squad down this event. The reason we exist when so many teams don't is because we have more heart than anybody, you can take that shit to the bank. Nobody can touch us in that category. In saying that let's show the world what we're capable of when we get to florida boys, but it starts today.
.
15th anniversary jersey
This isn't the final jersey design, there are a bunch of small changes coming down the pipeline. But you get the idea. These will be ready for the new jersey open. A lot has happened since the team's 10 year anniversary. 5 years is a long time for sure, and pretty much everything around me has changed, the league, sponsors, roster, etc. One thing is certain though, that one day I will be sitting here working on a 20th anniversary jersey. I know it because I have seen a ton of teams come and go over the last 15years, some with great players, lots of money, talent, you name it. They are usually lacking in the important departments though. Determination, heart, resilience, loyalty, and sweet ass beards. Be proud to pull that jersey over your head every time you play. A lot of people before you didn't have the attributes to be allowed to keep wearing it. And let's continue to make sure that when people see it on the other side of the field they know the punishment is coming.
P.S.P. CHICAGO 2011
So, if you have never been on the podium before I know this won't make sense but 2nd place is the worst. I know that sounds crazy but we were so fuckin close. One broken gun away from a first place, pretty frustrating. It took me a while to write this update just because shit bothers me way more than it should. I couldn't be prouder of all of the guys on d1, we played with true heart out there. We were pretty much in a battle after the first game. I don't think I've ever gone through an event and played that many one point games in a row. Some really epic games in there that I will remember fondly for the rest of my life, especially that game against texas storm. On the other hand I have never been so pissed at a webcast in my life. I don't disagree with everything that was said I just don't understand all of the hate man. I guess Mr. Marshall is just jealous of our sexiness. All of that doesn't mean shit though. Haters will continue to hate, shit we got 2nd and everyone gets mad that it wasn't entertaining enough, lol. We play to win, and nothing else.
To sum it up, it's been one year since we rebuilt this team. We acquired a bunch of players that didn't have homes at the time. They combined with all of our young talent, and the rest is history. Everybody got along on and off the field right from the start. I feel that we have the talent and are really building something special, through everybodys hard work. In retrospect we have played 5 d1 events, and we have gotten on the podium in 3 of them(1st,2nd,4th). The great thing is we never look back, we just continue to look forward and continue to look at how we can improve and get the next podium. We are really starting to put the hardwork in now, and will continue to practice pro teams, and do what it takes. I just want to say to all of the guys that left it all on the field, I couldn't be prouder of the effort and heart you displayed at the event. We have so many aspects of our game that we can get better on the future looks really promising. Let people keep hating. It really is just jealousy, and ignorance. Outsiders really don't understand our team, they just want to hate because we continue to weather the storm and continue to put up results when they couldn't win a local 5-man event. We don't have time for small minded bullshit, lets just keep working on becoming the best players that we can, the rest will just fall into place. Oh and Rohrmann can we invest in a panoramic lense, I can't fit all of the trophies in one picture anymore brother, hahahaha.................
With the New Jersey event right around the corner, the amount of support will be unheard of. Lets give all of our family and friends something to cheer about. I expect no less than 3 podiums from our group. Especially the gold squad, it's our anniversary as an organization, the event is in new jersey, the time is now. Good shit boys, keep up the hard work, it is really paying off.
DAMAGE PRACTICE june4th-june5th
I know I've been bad with the updates, I'm sorry, I can't believe how many people emailed me telling me to get off my ass, because they are huge fans of the team and wanted to see what we are up to. Number one, thanks for the support, number two we're finally ramping it up. We had a pretty good opportunity recently to travel down to practice with pro paintball team damage. We always talk about wanting to practice pro teams, so we decided it was time to shut up and do it. Everybody arrived on friday night, jumped in the rental cars and off we went. Most of the guys got in early but myself, Dr. Demetri, the gold shoulder, jordan pinzolo himself, and Chas the leper lessig, got in late, due to the fact that we had a fashion shoot in europe earlier that day. Back to business though. We showed up early at CFP in Florida, suited up and started with 30 second drills so both teams could learn the field. After that we broke right into games. They were really putting it on us in the beginning but we started to battle back. We broke at about 2 oclock, the heat was intense, and we really got a grind in, shooting right around 50 cases. Overall on the day I would say we won 25-30% of the points. I was super impressed by the speed that they play at, there is just no lag time in their game, and their accuracy is second to none. We headed home to rehydrate and eat chicken wonton tacos at applebees, which Mr. Blue steel himself made us go to 3 times in one night, while Meter and Chas went to see the new star wars ride at disney. Sunday comes and we really ramped up our playing. This was a much shorter day as both teams only went through about 30 cases. We learned from our mistakes the previous day. Fuelled by 894.00 dollars worth of appleebee's, we played a lot more controlled, aggressive, and like a team, actually winning 50% of the points on sunday. We learned a lot from Damage, and I can't thank Joey, Mike Carthy, Jason Edwards, and all of the guys that stopped and shared knowledge on how to improve our game. I know I speak for all of the guys when I say it was a great experience and we can't wait to do it again.
A New year is upon us.........
It's 2011, and almost time for a new paintball season to begin. We have a lot planned for this year, too much to detail in a little article on this website. We will be covering it all at Jesterfest which is planned for this February 4th to be held at the Jesters house. We will be sending out all of the info to players, alumni, and friends via the automated system Mike has configured.
However, this is a big year for the team, we have always been innovators and this year will be a hallmark year for the direction of the team. I know we have had some practices but it is time to really get back on the grind as a whole. We have some epic plans this year including atlas reopening under a new name(we ordered the 2011 psp field which will be in March 1st), diversifying where we play(millenium events, uspl, etc....), and a lot of old faces coming back into the mix again. You know what I can go on and on but you'll just have to be at jesterfest to get all of the information suckers. Oh and if you're wondering why a picture of conan, it's because we are ready to take it to the next level and conquer new territories as a crew, and I couldn't think of a better image to represent that idea
NJJ Dominates at the shooting range!!!!!
So, on Sunday the 19th in honor of myself(Tim Trentacoste) getting married we went to a shooting range in Pennsylvania to have a good time being men, shooting off real guns. Holy shit was it fun, I cannot wait to go back. We got to shoot everything from shotguns to pistols to sniper rifles. Crewbe and some of the guys proved their skills at the range while others like Chas showed that their accuracy is super consistent(consistently terrible that is). Anyway I just wanted to thank Dylan, Matt, G, and everybody else that helped organize the day it was a ton of fun. Becaue of this experience and my knowledge of the impending end of the world, I feel fully confident in our ability to dominate when the end of days arrives, Chas you will be stationed in the front ranks, also known as operation human shield. Shout out to Mike's terrible sock hat and Wes's new nickname Wolfgang. Can't wait to head back there. Thanks everybody.
E.C.C.P.L
On November 28th we attended the premier event of the ECPPL at Top Gun. It was a blast, the day was cold as hell which made the paint situation terrible but other than that things ran pretty smoothly. We made it into the top four where we met Obnoxious who was playing some great ball, we were ready to avenge our prelims loss. Unfortunatley it wasn't to be as we received 4 penalties in the game. Hats off to them they played some great ball, it was unfortunate that we didn't get to play a straight up game though. So we got relegated to play for third against FACK who was also playing some great ball. Conor and Jordan being our senior members came out super pissed this game and played like demons. But I have to give special credit to Canadian Ryan who played nasty all day. In the last overtime point in which it was a 2v2, and both teams had the same positions, he singlehandedly shot the last two players winning us Third place. I'd like to personally thank everybody that showed up who wasn't playing just to support. We had more staff than players, and that's what it's all about, sticking together and giving it all for the good of the team no matter what your role is that day. Great work to everybody, I l know we're only truly content with first but it was a great effort, especially with the ridiculous amount of penalties and paint issues. Keep up the hard work, as GW says it's time to DOMINATE.
WORLD CUP TIME 10.18.2010
I'm writing this as a message to all of our members(that includes players, coaches, fans, and alumni).......
It's time for world cup again. As I am putting the finishing touches on our travel details with all of our administrators I started to daydream. My first psp event personally was a world cup back in 2003 I believe, maybe it was 2002 I don't even remember it's been so long. Only Dylan and I still remain from that team, we were playing 5-man with an entry that we won. However what I do remember is watching the nxl, watching the best players go at it, the trade show which was massive, the amount of teams was astounding, derder released it's first video at sun on the beach, and just goofing off in old town with the boys. A lot has changed since then, some for the better, some for the worse, but people want to keep telling me that paintball is dying, hell someone even made a movie entitled "the end" for christ's sake. Guess what, don't believe the hype. Every non-mainstream sport goes through a period where they have a rough patch, guess what it's followed by an explosion of growth. The same thing will happen with paintball, it's inevitable. But that's just it, everyone wants to blame the sport for them quitting and it's bullshit, I know why people want to do it. It's a hell of a lot easier to blame the sport than look inward at yourself. If you have given up, then it's you to blame, either you lost the drive, you lost the heart, you became to lazy to work hard or grab an extra shift at work to pay for practice. But guess what it's never to late to start playing, or start playing again, never. Our sport will never die, and you know how I know. Because as I sit here writing this I can't wait to get to cup and wach the nxl, hit the trade show, see all of the teams, and hang out with all the boys(in a luxurious house this time), and see the new derder movie. In hindsight those are all of the same things I always looked forward to at my first world cup. I guess it took me a while but here's the point. The people that drift away from our sport seem to have a common trait, they think that this sport owes them, guess what, it's the other way around. Don't take things for granted in life, way too many people do. I owe so much to this team and the sport just like all of you do. To all of my teammates old and new: I still love this sport more than you can imagine, it has given me my best friends, memories that are good and bad, taught me lessons, and most importantly dreams. My first world cup I played on our five man team, this world cup we're going down with an army of three full x-ball teams with sponsors fighting over us for next season, when most teams can't even find one. That's what our team represents, a DREAM, that a bunch of kids with a 5-man team could grow into one of the largest paintball organizations in the world doesn't even seem possible. And don't get me wrong, when we arrive at cup our focus will be on winning the event, our main goal is to kick the shit out of every team on the other end of the field every point, but don't forget to have fun boys, remember to enjoy times like these with your best friends. Smile as you slide that fresh new jersey jester's jersey over your head and prepare for battle that day. You represent a dream, the future of paintball, and the largest organization in the world. And remember that we all owe for that opportunity, by going out and giving it your blood, sweat, and your opponent's tears. Well anyway my daydream is over, back to the current dream, punishing motherfuckers at world cup. LETS DO IT BOYS.
NYPL FINALS 8.21-22.2010
Matt Rohrmman #77
The New Jersey Jesters competed in the 2010 New York Paintball League (NYPL) X-ball league held at Headrush Action Sports Park located in Syracuse, NY. This regional series consisted of 4 regular season events and one single elimination playoff round. The competition included 32 teams from the Northeastern United States and Canada broken into two separate conferences. The Jesters played in the American League, where they went undefeated through the regular, giving up just 2 points per match on average and winning by an average margin of nearly 10 points. This strong showing tapped the Jesters as the number one seed in their conference. During the playoff weekend, heavy wind and rains delayed play as the field's equipment and player visibility were severely compromised. Despite numerous weather delays, the weekend's matches were played out with the Jesters continuing the undefeated run to the championship match against the Onondaga Drinkin Buddies. The final match was tightly contested as the aforementioned weather made the pace of play slow to a near standstill and the referees had trouble making consistent calls with the limited visibility. With the clock running down to less than a minute the final point came down to a quick exchange of kills where the jesters had one body on the field following several run-throughs from both teams. It was Harris Hussain himself pulling off a 1v1, that had the season and 4,000 riding on it. The last point gave the Jesters the one-point victory and the season title. Captain and grillmaster Tim Trentacoste had this to say "Even though we won the game and the seaon title it was only bittersweet due to the fact we lost a whole batch of homemade cookies in the storm. I only hope that we can bounce back from this tragedy next season.
PSP Mid Atlantic Open
Mike Wickey #24
Ever since its inception into the PSP, the Mid Atlantic Open has continually gotten better each year thanks to the hard work of Paintball Central located in Charlotte, South Carolina. Despite the heat and other hardships endured during a PSP event, the competitive level of play was higher than ever, and all the games were exciting to watch. Hopefully PBC can continue to put on great events, I know all the participating teams appreciate the effort and enjoy competing at this event. MAO routinely boasts a great event for the Jesters, and this year was no exception. As an organization, this was our best event to date. All three of our teams (d1, d2 and d4) made it on to Sunday, with two of those teams taking podium finishes. Additionally, our d2 team really turned things around from a rough Chicago event earlier this year. That being said, World Cup is looking to be another great event for the Jesters organization. We're training very hard, and our efforts will be rewarded.
Poor man's World Cup

The New Jersey Jesters fresh off a successful World Cup performance in which 3 out of 5 x-ball teams made it out of the pre-lims along with two podium finishes (D1 & D2 5 Man), took a trip up to Syracuse for one of the last x-ball tournaments of the year. Poor Man’s World Cup, a race to 4 event, was held at Headrush Paintball and saw 5 teams enter with the New Jersey Jesters and Factory Black the favorites to meet in the finals. The Jesters squad which consisted of players from all the divisional teams (D1 Haris Hussain, D2 Arslan Hussain & Dan Trawick, D3 Beau Milo, & D4 Kyle Barry) started off the day strong by winning their first match against Binghamton University 4-0. Their second match of the day was the showdown against the home team Factory Black. This match was tightly contested but the Jesters came up on the losing end of a 2-1 score. The Jesters put that loss behind them and rolled to a second seed with a victory of 3-1 over Tri City Legends and a 4-0 win over Jersey Titans. With a rematch looming with Factory Black the Jesters went in to the semi finals match against Tri City Legends. The Jesters came out fast with 2 quick points to open up a 2-0 lead. The third point saw Haris get a kill without shooting a ball as Tri Cities’ dorito player conceded before he was about to be bunkered and the Jesters went up 3-0. The Jesters than finished them off, scoring the last point of the match in dominant fashion for a 4-0 win. The rematch was set, as the Jesters advanced to the finals to meet Factory Black who received the bye into the finals. The Jesters coming off a shutout win looked to avenge their only loss of the day, and grinded out a 6 minute first point to take a 1-0 lead in the match. The second point saw much of the same from Factory Black and the Jesters took a convincing 2-0 lead. Factory Black was able to cut into the Jesters lead and put the match at 2-1. With just over a minute remaining in the match the Jester were able to shut down a push up the field from Factory Black to take home the 1st place crown. Another great day of paintball and another podium finish for the Jesters, adding to their successful 2011 season.

R2L A.K.A. Refuse to lose

Some of you may have heard Dylan's phrase refuse to lose. It's reserved for that moment, (and if you've been playing long enough you have seen players enter this zone) when someone literally refuses to lose. He reaches almost an out of control state where nothing can stop him. I've seen Mike Carthy, Todd Adamson, Brian Cole, Rambo and a bunch of others on numerous occasions do it. Coinciding with the article I just wrote I thought this was a great topic. Who is going to pickup the refuse to lose gauntlet at cup. I saw flashes of it at NJO out of numerous players like Chas, James, and some others, who just got into a zone and fought their asses off win or lose. My favorite example of a man with R2L gift is Barry Sanders, the best running back that ever lived. This guy had zero offensive line, and simply put had to run for his life everytime he touched the ball. Where as most running backs wouldn't have done shit on this team Barry literally refused to be tackled on so many runs. He picked his team up on his shoulders on so many occasions because he simply wanted to get in the endzone more than the guys on the other team wanted to keep him out. The best thing about Barry Sanders is he just played for the love of it, not because he wanted to see himelf on sportscenter or his picture in magazines, but because her was giving it his all to propel his team. The proof is he never even celebrated after a run he would just flip the ball to a ref and hi-five a teammate. If you have no clue who he(JORDAN) is or just want to see some sick highlites check out the link below. I think just like we have a DAF club after cup I have a feeling we're going to have a R2L club also boys.

Guess who we met at the airport....
So we get off the plane in Newark and there are like 12 of us waiting for our gearbags at baggage claim and guess who walks up. The fuckin creator of superpump, it was too good of a photo op to not take advantage of. This beast is 65 years old, not to mention Chin 2's idol. So next time you see Chin on one of his brake neck bunker runs and you want to know who to blame. You can put a face to it now.
Damage practice june4-june5
Congratulations Canada Ryan!
Some of you may have heard already as I have been slow with the updates but Canadian Ryan is a father now. As you can see this kid must take from the mother's side as he is actually a really cute baby, I know he didn't get that from Ryan. But in all seriousness congrats to you and your family on the addition of Oakley Chantler, born 8lbs, 8 ounces on January 29th.
Now this is artwork
I don't really have a crazy or silly write up for this one. I recently got married, and a bunch of the Jesters got to see this first hand. My wife and in-laws are the best, check out the ice sculpture they let me pick out. Well anyway I just figured that the guys that didn't get to see it would want to check it out.

Hey guys, at jesterfest we will be having a huge fundraiser in which we will showcase a ton of new products, here is the first of many.
JESTERFEST
February 4th at the jester house
time to seperate the boys from the men
That's right, no need to rub your eye's you read that correctly. It has been a long time coming but there was just too much to organize this time, between all of the old faces, all of the new gear, and the new awards ceremony, coordinating the schedule so Meter and Matt would be here. Not to mention the jesters museum we are putting up. This shit is going to be epic
Bailey decided on orange................
Alright bitches, the time is almost near. We are going to be having the jesterfest I believe sometime in the middle of January. The reason for the delay is we are having a ton of custom gear made for the occasion that we will be selling to raise funds. We made a limited edition run of custom jester's jerseys by laysick in Neon green, red, purple, lakers colors, and orange(which mysteriously has been missing since bailey saw the shipment come in, grimey bastard). These jerseys have a jester's head on the back, pretty large, where a name would be. There is only 2 of each color. I personally decided to go with neon green bitches, don't drool too much you'll short out your keyboard, if only I can keep this thing away from Bailey..............

Are you ready for Jesterfest?
So god came down today and said Tim you can ask me anything, but I'm only giving you one question. I didn't even have to think. I looked him dead in the eye and said God, When the fuck did Batman get so sexy?, he's gotta be at least top 3 in that pic. God just looked at me and said Tim that's obviously not batman that's Greg Wickey himself, and with a costume like that, Jesterfest must be near homie.
The geo 2's are in production!!!!!!!!

Josh Fiandaca's coaching debut a success
On Sunday at the ECPPL event I actually got to see just how far the team has come in the last few years. On the hyperball field behind the x-ball field the event was being held on I played one of my first ever tournaments(obviously with the Jesters). It was an awesome day, Dylan was putting on a show, we brought a camper, and even Fat Tony came out to BBQ. We got third that day also(blows!) but we are the only team that even still exists that played in that tourney 8 years ago. And you know what I'm having more fun than ever. I just wish we were smart enough to still bring a grill still. Anyway all these years later and we have one of the bigest organizations in the world, and on sunday we came out in numbers to support our guys on the field playing. Which is what it's all about, playing your part and doing all that you can to help your team win, whether it's on the field or off. As we continue to grow we need people to step up into leadership roles that we trust to do a good job. One such individual is Josh Fiandaca AKA the amish jedi. A little background on Josh; he started out on our d3 team where I coached Josh for years, and after a lot of dedication and hard work, he plays on our top flight division one squad with multiple psp podiums on his resume(and more to come suckers). This sunday was Josh's coaching debut for the team and he helped steer them to a podium finish in his first time behind the wheel. There isn't a doubt in anybody's mind that there are a lot more podiums in josh's and the team future. Our time is now, and everybody has a huge part to play in carrying on the proud tradition. That's whats great about having an organization like ours, we have a lot of talent that can step up.
15 years of service

1996 to 2011. That's a long ass time. Most teams don't even last a couple of seasons. It's staggering and the result of a lot of blood sweat and tears. Conor wasn't even in first grade yet and Demetri was still wearing diapers! We have a ton of stuff planned for this year. We're getting a lot of custom products from laysick, planet eclipse, and Kongker to name a few just to celebrate. Keep your eyes peeled here, it's gonna be an epic year on and off the field.
You're help is needed, all members past and present.
Above is one of the reasons that we are doing a funddraiser. That is a huge custom mascot head(this one is a bull) We are going to be raising funds for a custom Jester Head mascot. We need everybody's support to get it done. We will be having a fundraiser, where we will be selling different items to raise funds. We'll let everybody know the actual date ASAP. Who know we might even raffle off a date with Chas himself.
